Arriving At the Final Stage of Album - 草窝 (Caowo)
We’re one step closer to releasing 我操!乐队 (WatchOUT!Band)’s first and last album — 草窝 (Caowo)! With the final song mixed and the album cover designed, we’re now working with distributors to share it with the world. :> The first three songs will be released as early previews next week—get excited!

Fire, Wind, Sand, Water —— A farewell bonfire with my friend Suki
What happens if you set up a bonfire near a San Francisco beach while wind blows right at you? Your stomach ends up half full of sand, and your eyes blinded by sand triggered tears. But tears are good, especially when a friend is leaving, so you don’t have to fake sadness.
Last Friday, a few friends gathered to send off our dear friend Suki on her indefinite departure. During the week, she’s a child psychiatrist—but come the weekend, she turns into an entirely different beast. You’ll only find her in the mountains, snowboarding. Definitely one of the most adventurous people I’ve ever met. Now, she’ll be traveling around the U.S. for two months before heading back to China.
I’ve known her since I first moved to San Francisco. Eight months has past and we’ve shared great memories—watching shitty films like Venom: Last Dance, chasing the blue moon, and talking about gender and ways of forming nontraditional relationships. It’s a huge loss now that she’s leaving. But hey, farewells also mean new beginnings, and I’m excited to see what kind of person she’ll become.
