Mom, I got into Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA)!

I have some exciting news to share — I’m part of a new exhibition at MarinMOCA called ART FWD 5x5x5, opening October 18. (My first museum show, ayy!)

This show connects 155 Bay Area artists in a chain of creativity: five artists each invite five more, and those five invite another five. It’s a growing conversation across generations, styles, and communities. I’m incredibly grateful to Lordy Rodriguez for choosing me to be part of this circle.

Sometimes the simplest objects hold the biggest questions.
When I painted this seesaw on a tilted panel, I was thinking about balance, about how easily it shifts, how a small act of play might steady a tilted horizon again.

The tilt can almost disappear if you don’t look too closely. Maybe that’s what perspective does. It’s your decision to tilt the seesaw, or the world.
